Please explain why you have me check my backpack but I have $2,000 in my backpack and you have no security watching it. Even the Emart in Newport News does not have me check my backpack. Meanwhile, somebody have a side bag that looks Korean and that's okay. He did not have to check it. Please explain your policy. If I check my bag and I lose my $2,000 are you responsible?

Great selection of Asian and international food, as well as hard to find fresh produce. Staff are nice and friendly. Produce, ngl, can be a hit or miss sometimes. Kimchi is made in house it appears and is pretty good. It is fresh if you’re not a fan of it when it’s already fermented and sour. Consistency is something to be desired though. I gave a one star less for being charged at the register for something I didn’t purchase. So I’d check the receipts before leaving. Mind you I only bought like less than 8 items.

First time and I’m gonna buck the trend here. Nothing bad, just not for me. It was cool seeing all the international items. But what I really disliked was inventory all over the place…just too messy! I was told by a friend they have a marvelous butcher. That area had a fishy smell. So a one and done, but again nothing bad. A-OK.

My family and I love coming to this place. Love their meat, fish, & produce department. The only reason I gave a 4 is sometimes the processed food that I get here are already old so it’s about to expire or one time my seaweed was already expired and I just bought it. I didn’t check as I was shopping I was busy making sure my kids don’t run off or something. So that…or sometimes some of the female cashier got some weird attitude that’s just a little mean but other than that I love coming here.

well I was in the area and I don't typically go around that side but I remembered that they have the fried chicken that is the recipe from the farm fresh restaurant grocery stores that were in our area unfortunately I was a little bit too late for me to get it this evening but I will be back I bought some crab legs and some muscles and some long green beans I can't wait to try those is a great place to explore new and exciting items! The deli does close at 6:30 so if you want to get that chicken you gotta get in there early, but hey gotta do what you Gotta do right? their produce section is excellent!
